Happy Holidays & End of Year “Computer Must Do’s”
Season’s Greetings Everyone!
Thank YOU for helping CL Tech make 2009 such a great year! With less than TWO WEEKS left in the year, there are a lot of end of year computer needs that have to be addressed.
1.) Make sure you backup your customer database, business records, music, and precious memories (pictures).
2.) During this month’s maintenance, have an internal dust cleaning performed if you haven’t had one it at least the past 6 months.
3.) Setup a consulting session with your IT professional to develop and map out a plan to maintain and/or upgrade your IT systems for 2010. This will make sure you can concentrate on your business, and not worry about when your computer will crash next.
Year end is a good time for many businesses to buy computer equipment and make upgrades to their existing computer systems and networks. One idea is to take advantage of tax incentives. You can offset income from your business by buying and installing your equipment and/or upgrade before year end and expensing the entire purchase in 2009. By accelerating the depreciation on these purchases you can save tax dollars and use the cash flow for other business purposes. For this and other tax planning strategies, click here. If you have further questions for a qualified tax professional - we recommend you contact Joseph Sillo, at Brinker Simpson and let him know CL Tech sent you.
